Baghdad:Deputy Speaker of Parliament Farhad Amin Atroshi highlighted to Finance Minister Falih Sari the necessity of approving a budget that reflects the economic challenges, meets public needs, and ensures essential services.

According to the Iraqi News Agency, Atroshi met with Minister Sari at his official office in Baghdad, where the discussion included heads of the Kurdistan blocs and several MPs. They addressed issues concerning Iraq’s fiscal and economic policy, plans for the upcoming period, and the draft federal budget law.

The meeting underscored the importance of establishing common ground for resolving financial and economic issues between the federal government and the Kurdistan Regional Government, in line with constitutional processes, as part of the general budget law.
