Diyala: The Diyala Agriculture Directorate has announced the seizure and destruction of dozens of narcotic plants in a village located in the Al-Wajihiya district of the province, in cooperation with local police.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the directorate reported the seizure of 73 Datura plants, which are classified as narcotic, in the village of Kalwaz within the Al-Wajihiya district. The operation was executed with the help of the Narcotics and Intelligence Divisions and the Al-Wajihiya police station.
The directorate further noted that this operation followed the discovery and destruction of 250 Datura plants two days earlier in the Qazaniya district, situated east of Baquba.
