Baghdad: The Ministry of Interior announced the arrest of a “deviant group” attempting to destabilize the security and political situation in the country.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the ministry confirmed in a statement that the Federal Intelligence and Investigation Agency conducted a qualitative operation which led to the arrest of this group. The operation was aimed at thwarting attempts to undermine the nation’s security and political stability.
