Baghdad:Minister of Digital Economy and Governance Mohammed Sahib Al-Daraji has emphasized the critical need to align digitalization efforts under an integrated government framework.

According to Iraqi News Agency, Al-Daraji participated in the Iraqi Diplomacy Governance Forum on Saturday evening, where he highlighted the role of digital transformation in enhancing governmental and diplomatic functions.

During the forum, Al-Daraji underscored the significance of unifying digitalization efforts within a cohesive government system and utilizing scientific research to support decision-making and enhance services. He also highlighted the importance of safeguarding data and information through a robust cybersecurity system and proposed the establishment of a national cloud infrastructure hosted within Iraq and managed by Iraqi experts.
