Direct Talks Between Washington and Tehran Contingent on Positive Atmosphere

Muscat: The American news website Axios announced that direct talks between Washington and Tehran will be held today if the atmosphere is positive. The potential for these discussions comes amidst a backdrop of ongoing tensions and diplomatic maneuvering between the two nations.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the website revealed that US President Donald Trump is prepared to make concessions to reach an agreement with Iran. This move is seen as a strategic effort to de-escalate tensions and potentially pave the way for a more stable relationship between the two countries.

Earlier today, the Iranian Foreign Ministry confirmed the launch of indirect talks between Iran and the United States in Muscat, the capital of Oman. These initial discussions are aimed at setting the stage for possible direct negotiations, contingent upon a conducive environment that would allow for productive dialogue.
