Director of Health in Anbar Inaugurates Rahaliya Health Center and Inspects Ongoing Projects


Al-rahaliya: The Director General of Anbar Health Department, Khudair Khalaf Shallal, inaugurated the main health center in Al-Rahaliya district while also inspecting several ongoing health projects in the area.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the inauguration of the Rahaliya Health Center is part of the Anbar Health Department’s efforts to enhance primary healthcare services and broaden the health service spectrum available to district residents. The department aims to address the healthcare needs of the local population through this initiative.



A statement from the Anbar Health Department highlighted that the Director General embarked on a field tour to examine the ongoing health projects within the district. This tour was conducted alongside the Director of the Engineering and Maintenance Projects Department to assess progress and completion rates. Key projects under inspection included the construction of a maternity and emergency room and a doctors’ residence, with current completion rates nearing 75 percent. Continuous field monitoring is emphasized to ensure these projects adhere to approved technical specifications.



The Director General underscored the significance of completing these health projects in Al-Rahaliya, noting that they are vital additions to the health sector. The completion of these projects is expected to significantly enhance the level of medical services available to the district’s residents.



The opening ceremony was attended by several officials, including district director Mustafa Abdul Ahmed Abu Risha, the director of the Engineering and Maintenance Projects Department, Yasser Munir Dilan, and the director of the Second Ramadi Primary Healthcare Sector, Walid Adel Al-Obaidi, among others.
