Baghdad: Hisham Al-Rikabi, Director of the Press Office of the head of the State of Law Coalition, confirmed that the coalition’s leader, Nouri Al-Maliki, is in good health. This statement comes in response to recent reports circulated by some media outlets and social media platforms regarding a deterioration in Al-Maliki’s condition.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Rikabi addressed the issue through a post on the “X” platform, where he stated that the recent period has witnessed a widespread promotion of rumors aimed at misleading public opinion by spreading false information about Al-Maliki’s health.

He urged media outlets and social media users to exhibit professional responsibility and verify the accuracy of information before disseminating it. Al-Rikabi warned against being drawn into campaigns of distortion and misinformation, emphasizing the importance of factual reporting.
