Diwaniyah: The Diwaniyah Chamber of Commerce has made a formal appeal to the local government, advocating for the establishment of a reconstruction council and a high-level committee to oversee development, specialized projects, and the management of the province’s financial resources.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, Mahmoud al-Laithi, the head of the Diwaniyah Chamber of Commerce, emphasized the urgent need for solutions to the issue of stalled projects across various sectors within the province. He advocated for the adoption of a direct implementation approach for these projects by the relevant government departments.
Al-Laithi also highlighted the necessity of enhancing the investment climate in Diwaniyah. He suggested that involving the city’s merchants in this process by nominating investment land could be a pivotal step forward. This initiative aims to foster a more conducive environment for economic growth and development in the region.
