Diwaniyah Government Withdraws Project from Spanish Company Due to Delays

Diwaniyah: The local government in Diwaniyah Governorate has announced the Council of Ministers’ decision to withdraw a project from a Spanish company that was responsible for rehabilitating neighborhoods in the governorate’s center. The work will now be referred to other companies to ensure timely completion.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the official Spokesman for the Governor of Diwaniyah, Nazhan Al-Zubaidi, stated that the local government had submitted a report to the Council of Ministers highlighting delays in the project. The project aimed to rehabilitate 42 neighborhoods within the city center, but the delays have led to significant service problems for the governorate.

The decision to reassign the project to different companies comes as a move to address these service issues and expedite the rehabilitation process. The local government is focused on resolving these delays to improve living conditions in the affected neighborhoods.
