Diwaniyah: Official working hours will be suspended on Wednesday in Diwaniyah. The Diwaniyah Provincial Council has decided to suspend official working hours on Wednesday in commemoration of the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Ali (peace be upon him).

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Diwaniyah Provincial Media Director Nazhan al-Zubaidi announced that service departments will operate at 50% capacity, with the exception of health departments. This decision aligns with the Ministry of Health's directive to ensure essential health services remain unaffected.

The temporary suspension is a mark of respect and remembrance for Imam Ali, emphasizing the cultural and religious significance of the occasion within the community.
