Diyala: The Diyala Police Command announced the seizure of two trucks loaded with goods prohibited from import and another truck without license plates. According to National Iraqi News Agency, detachments from the Qara Tapa Police Station, while conducting security checkpoints, seized two trucks carrying goods intended for smuggling, violating legal regulations. The drivers of these trucks were arrested.

The statement from the police command indicated that a security force seized a truck without license plates after the driver failed to stop at a checkpoint southwest of Baquba. The vehicle was pursued and apprehended, and authorities found three forged license plates and five forged vehicle registration documents in the driver’s possession. The necessary legal measures were taken against the accused, and he was referred to the competent authorities to complete the legal proceedings against him.
