Diyala: Diyala University has approved the academic promotions of faculty members across its colleges. University President Tahseen Hussein Mubarak stated on this occasion, “We congratulate the faculty members on receiving their well-deserved academic promotions, which represent the fruit of their continuous efforts over the years in the field of scientific research and the organization of scientific and academic activities.” He emphasized the importance of academic promotion pathways in enhancing the university’s standing and academic integrity.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Secretary of the University Council, Rashid Saadoun Mohammed, explained that the promotions included 23 to the rank of Professor and 12 to the rank of Assistant Professor, in addition to the rank of Lecturer, after they fulfilled the approved conditions and regulations.

This activity contributes to supporting the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4 (Quality Education), by supporting academic competencies and motivating researchers to produce more high-quality scientific output that contributes to raising the university’s academic level and serving the community.
