Jerusalem: Dozens of settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque on Monday under heavy protection from the Israeli occupation police.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the settlers entered Al-Aqsa Mosque from the Maghrabah Gate in groups and conducted provocative tours in its courtyards, amidst strict Israeli measures in occupied Quds.

Since the start of the comprehensive Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip and the West Bank in October 2023, the occupation forces have tightened their measures at the gates of Al-Aqsa Mosque and the entrances to the Old City.

In another location, occupation forces and settlers bulldozed lands to pave settlement roads in the village of Al-Burj and the town of Adh-Dhahiriya, south of al-Khalil. Settlers also pursued shepherds in Sha’b al-Batm area, the eastern area of the village of Ma’in, and Larqiz (in Masafer Yatta).

National Iraqi News Agency indicated that the settlers intensified their attacks on citizens’ property and lands, especially those classified as “C”, to pave colonial roads and build new settlement outposts with the support of the occupying state.
