Baghdad: The General Company for Iraqi Ports has confirmed that the recent drone crash at the Grand Faw Port has not disrupted port operations. The incident occurred on Wednesday and involved an unidentified drone crashing in an open area within the port’s perimeter.

According to Iraqi News Agency, the company issued a statement clarifying that the crash caused no casualties or material damage. The drone landed far from any workers, equipment, or facilities, allowing port activities to continue without interruption.

The General Company for Iraqi Ports noted that security authorities are actively investigating the incident in coordination with the port’s management and other relevant parties.
