Baghdad: A drug trafficking network was dismantled and seven suspects were arrested in Diwaniyah. Security forces successfully carried out the operation, highlighting ongoing efforts to combat drug-related crimes in the region.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Diwaniyah police revealed in a press release that approximately half a kilogram of crystal methamphetamine, along with weapons and drug paraphernalia, were seized from the suspects. The authorities emphasized that the necessary legal procedures have been initiated against the suspects, and they have been referred to the competent judicial authorities for further action.
