The Hague: Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoof described the humanitarian suffering in the Gaza Strip as horrific in light of the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Strip. Schoof said via the X platform that he spoke with a number of representatives of humanitarian organizations “about the need for humanitarian aid in Gaza, a ceasefire, and compliance with international law,” stressing that “our government continues to urge Israel to comply with international humanitarian law, particularly its responsibility to ensure safe and unhindered access for humanitarian aid, and continues to call on all parties to return to the ceasefire agreement.”

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Dutch government had previously announced tightening restrictions on the export of all military products and “dual-use” goods bound for the Israeli entity.
