Earthquake of 5.1 Magnitude Strikes Near Iraqi-Iranian-Turkish Border


Erbil: An earthquake measuring 5.1 degrees was recorded near the Iraqi-Iranian-Turkish border, according to the Meteorological and Seismic Monitoring Authority.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the earthquake occurred at 09:03 pm on Tuesday. It was located 45 km north of the city of Erbil, at a depth of 10 km. The tremors were clearly felt in the Kurdistan Region and Nineveh.
