BAGHDAD: An earthquake measuring 4.5 on the Richter scale was reported in the Salah al-Din region, 30 kilometers from Sharqat District, according to the Ministry of Transport. The seismic event was recorded by the Meteorological Authority’s observatories.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the earthquake occurred at 5:20:30 p.m. on Thursday and was felt by residents in the vicinity of Sharqat District.
