Earthquake of Magnitude 4.5 Strikes Southeastern Iran


SERJ: An earthquake measuring 4.5 on the Richter scale struck the village of Serj in Kerman Province, southeastern Iran, on Tuesday evening. The seismic event, which occurred at a depth of 8 kilometers, has raised concerns among local residents and authorities, although no reports of damage or casualties have yet emerged.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the National Earthquake Monitoring Center provided details about the earthquake, confirming its occurrence at 6:48 pm on Tuesday.
