Nineveh: The Ministry of Education has introduced a new integrated retirement service at the Nineveh Directorate of Education, enabling the completion of transactions and issuance of retirement ID cards within one hour, all on-site.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry revealed in a press release that this initiative was launched under the direct supervision of the Minister of Education, Abdul Karim Abtan al-Jubouri. It represents a coordinated effort involving the local government, the National Retirement Authority, the Directorate’s Retirement Division, and Key Card Company, overseen by the Director General of Education.
The service incorporates teams responsible for managing retirement procedures. These include updating the Mastercard, transitioning the card from the employee number to the retirement number, and ultimately disbursing the retirement pension. This consolidated process aims to save time and reduce the need for multiple visits for retired educational staff.
