Baghdad: Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdel Ati announced that Gaza will be temporarily administered by 15 Palestinian technocrats under the supervision of the Palestinian Authority for a period of six months. He emphasized the unity of Gaza and the West Bank in his statement on Tuesday.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Abdel Ati detailed that the plan involves a temporary transitional formula within the framework of the Palestinian Authority. He affirmed that Cairo collaborates with Qatar and the United States to revive the 60-day truce between Israel and Hamas. The focus is on achieving a ceasefire, releasing some detainees and prisoners, and ensuring unhindered access to aid.

Abdel Ati highlighted that Egypt is addressing regional challenges by engaging with major powers to find peaceful solutions. He noted that this approach is being pursued without forming alliances or interfering in the affairs of other countries.
