Cairo: Egypt has strongly condemned the Israeli government’s decision to stop the entry of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip and to close the crossings used for relief work. This move has raised significant concerns regarding the ongoing humanitarian situation in the region.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs released a statement criticizing these actions, emphasizing that they represent a blatant violation of the ceasefire agreement, international humanitarian law, the Fourth Geneva Convention, and all religious laws. The statement underscored the importance of adhering to international agreements and norms, especially in regions experiencing conflict and humanitarian crises.

The Ministry further asserted that there is no justification, circumstance, or logic that could validate the use of starvation and siege tactics on civilians as a weapon against the Palestinian people. This stance is particularly pertinent during the holy month of Ramadan, a time when humanitarian considerations are even more pressing.
