Cairo: Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi announced plans for Egypt to host an international conference focused on the reconstruction of Gaza next month. Sisi made this announcement during a speech at the emergency Arab summit on Gaza held in Egypt.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Sisi emphasized Egypt’s commitment to ensuring the Palestinian people remain in their land and focus on rebuilding efforts. He outlined an Egyptian plan aimed at facilitating these objectives.

Sisi also revealed the formation of a committee composed of independent Palestinians to manage the Gaza Strip. Additionally, he mentioned efforts underway to train Palestinian security personnel who will be responsible for maintaining security in the Strip during the subsequent phase.
