Emergency Landing of Gulf Air Plane in Kuwait Due to Suspected Bomb Threat

Kuwait City: A Gulf Air flight, designated GF213, made an emergency landing at Kuwait International Airport following a report of a suspected bomb on board. The Kuwaiti Directorate General of Civil Aviation announced the safe landing of the aircraft, ensuring the safety of all passengers on board.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Directorate stated that the competent authorities acted promptly, adhering to established security procedures. The plane was safely landed, and all passengers were evacuated without incident.

Official Spokesman Abdullah Al-Rajhi confirmed that the evacuated passengers were moved to an isolated lounge and reported to be in good health. They underwent routine security checks conducted in collaboration with the Ministry of Interior and Civil Aviation to uphold safety standards.

Al-Rajhi also noted that the incident did not disrupt other flight operations at the airport. The individual responsible for the false bomb report was apprehended, and legal measures have been initiated against them.
