Basra: In a series of separate operations, the Energy Police Directorate successfully seized six vehicles involved in illegal oil trading across four governorates. The operations, conducted by the Sixth Brigade and the Ninth Brigade, led to the arrest of seven suspects in Kirkuk, Nineveh, Babylon, and Basra. The seized vehicles, along with their drivers, have been detained as part of the ongoing investigation.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Energy Police Directorate has been actively pursuing illegal oil trading activities. The recent operations reflect a concerted effort to curb smuggling activities that have been prevalent in the region. The detained suspects are currently undergoing investigation, and the case will be presented to the competent judge for further legal proceedings.
