In comments made to journalists aboard his plane after a Gulf tour that included visits to Kuwait, Qatar, and the Sultanate of Oman, Erdogan highlighted the complexity of rebuilding efforts in Gaza and underscored Turkey’s commitment to work collaboratively with Gulf nations to address the issue.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, Erdogan mentioned that comprehensive negotiations are underway to address the multidimensional nature of the task at hand in Gaza. He reiterated Turkey’s readiness to offer all necessary support to facilitate these efforts. Erdogan also called for international pressure on Israel to fulfill its commitments, advocating for sanctions and a halt to arms sales as measures to ensure compliance.
Erdogan further expressed that overcoming the challenges in Gaza is a critical test for the Islamic world. He expressed hope that the Islamic community will rise to the occasion and stand united with their Palestinian brothers, affirming Turkey’s unwavering resolve in providing the strongest possible support.
