Explosive Devices From ISIS Remnants Found And An Antiquities Dealer Arrested In Baghdad

The security forces found explosive devices left by ISIS, and arrested an antiquities dealer in Baghdad.

The Directorate of Intelligence and Security stated, in a statement: “The detachments of the Intelligence and Security Directorate of Baghdad found four explosive devices in Abu Ghraib district of Baghdad, which are metal sheets filled with (C4) from the remnants of ISIS terrorist gangs, which were removed by the engineering unit.”

It added, “In a tight ambush, the detachments of the Intelligence and Security Directorate of Baghdad arrested an antiquities dealer in Sheikh Omar area of Baghdad. An arrest warrant was issued against him in accordance with Article (44) of the Antiquities and Heritage Law, and the accused was handed over to the competent authorities duly.”
