Baghdad: First Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Adnan Faihan, and Secretary-General of Badr Organization, Hadi al-Amiri, emphasized the necessity of continuing political dialogue to fulfill national obligations.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the media office of the First Deputy Speaker of Parliament stated in a press release: “Faihan met with al-Amiri today, Wednesday. During the meeting, they discussed the latest developments on the local scene and the political activity related to resolving national obligations, and exchanged views on the nature of the current challenges and their impact on the country.”
Both sides stressed the importance of adopting balanced approaches that guarantee the preservation of supreme national interests and enhance political, security, and economic stability, in line with the requirements of the current stage.
They also emphasized the necessity of continuing constructive political dialogue and activity to complete the remaining national obligations, in a way that supports reform efforts and meets the aspirations of citizens. They stressed the importance of unifying national visions and strengthening the climate of understanding among political forces regarding the challenges and priority issues.
Faihan and Al-Amiri indicated that “the current stage requires responsible stances that strengthen confidence in state institutions and pave the way for developing sound solutions that meet the demands of the current phase, preserve national achievements, consolidate stability in the country, and serve the higher interest.”
