Baghdad: The First Deputy Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament, Adnan Faihan al-Dulaimi, held a meeting with the Minister of Communications, Mustafa Jabbar Sand, to discuss strategies for advancing the telecommunications sector and enhancing the services offered to citizens.

According to Iraqi News Agency, the media office of the First Deputy Speaker released a statement highlighting that the meeting took place at Adnan Faihan al-Dulaimi’s office. The session included several members of Parliament and focused on reviewing the current state of the telecommunications sector in Iraq. They examined the ministry’s existing plans and future programs, considering innovative approaches to elevate the sector and its services.

During the meeting, key challenges and obstacles hindering the Ministry’s operations were discussed. The dialogue aimed at finding solutions to enhance the Ministry’s performance efficiency and its capacity to implement planned initiatives successfully.

The statement also mentioned the significance of support from the House of Representatives. It was emphasized that legislative and oversight backing is crucial for the Ministry of Communications to further develop the sector and improve service quality for citizens.
