Baghdad: The First Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Adnan Faihan al-Dulaimi, convened with members of the Babylion Bloc, led by Aswad al-Kaldani, in his office. The meeting is part of Faihan’s continuous initiative to foster coordination and communication with political bloc leaders and members to bolster legislative and oversight functions within Parliament.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the First Deputy Speaker’s office released a statement highlighting that the discussions involved exchanging views on upcoming priorities. The statement underscored the necessity of unifying efforts among parliamentary blocs to address national issues and meet citizens’ expectations. It also pointed out the significance of constructive dialogue in resolving constitutional obligations, overcoming challenges, and promoting institutional stability.
