Baghdad: The First Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Adnan Faihan Al-Dulaimi, offered his condolences on the occasion of the Arbaeen of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him. In a statement, Fayhan expressed his deepest sympathies to the Imam of Time, the awaited Mahdi, esteemed religious authorities, the people, and the Arab and Islamic nations. He emphasized the significance of the Arbaeen commemoration of Imam Hussein ibn Ali as a pivotal human epic, highlighting the enduring principles of altruism, solidarity, and unity that are recognized globally.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Fayhan underscored the importance of the Arbaeen pilgrimage, which attracts millions of visitors from Iraq and beyond. He noted that this pilgrimage conveys a faith-based message and reflects a strong connection to the Ahl al-Bayt's approach, even amidst regional challenges. He called for inspiration from the virtues of patience, steadfastness, and sincerity taught by the school of Karbala.

Fayhan extended his gratitude to the Husseini processions committee, the citizens for their exemplary generosity, the volunteer teams, and the holy shrines. He acknowledged the efforts of local governments, despite financial constraints, and praised the federal government, security forces, and service and health departments for ensuring the pilgrimage's security.

He also expressed appreciation for the parliamentary committee's dedication to the Arbaeen pilgrimage, noting their role in implementing effective service and security plans. Fayhan concluded by offering prayers for increased rewards and comfort for all, hoping for acceptance of the pilgrims' deeds and adherence to Imam Hussein's path.
