Federal Police Command Arrests a Terrorist Suspect North of Baghdad.


Baghdad: Federal Police Command forces arrested a wanted suspect in terrorism cases north of Baghdad. The Command stated in a statement that: “According to intelligence information and in a qualitative operation, a force from the Federal Police, in cooperation with intelligence detachments, arrested a wanted suspect according to Article 4 of terrorism in the Rashidiya area north of Baghdad, and he was referred to the competent authorities.”

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the arrest was carried out through a coordinated effort between the Federal Police and intelligence units. The suspect’s apprehension was based on credible intelligence, leading to a successful operation in the Rashidiya area. The suspect, wanted under Article 4 of terrorism, is now in custody and has been referred to the appropriate legal authorities for further proceedings.
