Baghdad: The Federal Police Command forces have successfully arrested eight suspects under various legal charges in the regions of Baghdad and Babylon.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the arrests were made by the mechanized division units of the Federal Police, with crucial support from intelligence efforts and affiliated units. The suspects were apprehended for different legal violations including charges of murder, drug possession, issuing threats, execution of unlawful activities, and failure to appear before the judiciary. The arrests took place in the areas of Al-Ray and Al-Bayaa in Baghdad, as well as Iskandariyah in the Babylon Governorate.

In addition to the arrests, authorities seized 5 grams of crystal methamphetamine and a Mercedes wheel from the suspects. All suspects, along with the confiscated items, have been handed over to the competent authorities for further investigation and legal proceedings.
