BAGHDAD: The Federation of Arab Journalists has issued a strong condemnation of what it described as a criminal Zionist attack on journalists in Lebanon, calling for international action against ongoing aggression. The attack, which targeted journalists from Al-Mayadeen Channel, resulted in multiple casualties, including the deaths of three journalists and a Lebanese citizen, as well as injuries to five others.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the FAJ released a statement expressing its vehement denunciation of the attack, which occurred at dawn in Hasbaya, southern Lebanon. The statement highlighted the seriousness of the attack as it targeted journalists in their residence, leading to fatalities and injuries among media personnel and civilians.
The Federation further condemned the continued actions of the Zionist forces against the Lebanese people, referring to the ongoing aggression that has reportedly led to significant civilian casualties. The FAJ emphasized its call for all international media
and human rights organizations to take responsibility and urge the international community to condemn what it described as brutal aggression and terrorism.
The FAJ’s statement underscores the urgency for international intervention to halt the reported Israeli crimes against Lebanon, amid rising tensions in the region.
