Al-rifai: A field visit was conducted by the Al-Rifai Antiquities and Heritage Monitoring Department to the Tell al-Tiniya archaeological site, situated within District (8/Al-Safawa) in the Al-Rifai District. The visit was carried out in collaboration with the Al-Rifai Antiquities Protection Police to ensure the preservation of the site.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the visit involved a thorough field survey and identification of the protected archaeological boundaries. This initiative is part of the ongoing efforts to safeguard archaeological sites and prevent any encroachments or activities that might compromise their integrity. The visit also served to monitor other heritage sites within the Al-Rifai District, playing a crucial role in preserving the cultural heritage of the Dhi Qar Governorate.
