Baghdad: The Civil Defense Directorate announced that it had completely extinguished the fire that broke out inside the Lawyers Union building in central Baghdad.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the directorate stated, “Civil Defense teams immediately began firefighting operations and brought the blaze under control. Civil Defense teams from the Iraq Gate complex and companies operating within the complex also contributed to the firefighting efforts until the fire was fully extinguished.”
