Hillah: A large fire consumed two houses in the Alexandria district, north of Hillah, on Monday evening without resulting in any injuries. The incident was reported by local authorities, highlighting the swift response of emergency services.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Civil Defense Media Director Aqil Abdullah stated that Civil Defense teams successfully extinguished the fire, which was caused by the incorrect use of an electric heater. The timely intervention of the teams prevented the fire from causing any injuries, although the damage to property was significant.

Authorities are taking further steps to understand the circumstances surrounding the incident. Abdullah mentioned that the police have initiated an investigation to determine the precise causes of the fire.
