Baquba: A fire broke out inside the tanker holding area at the Diyala Oil Products Depot, southwest of Baquba, the provincial capital. The incident led to the burning of five tankers loaded with petroleum products.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a police source informed that the fire erupted in a yard designated for crude oil tankers near the Baquba grain silo. Civil defense teams responded promptly and managed to control and extinguish the fire. Fortunately, there were no casualties reported.

The source further mentioned that forensic teams have commenced their investigation to ascertain the causes and circumstances surrounding the fire.
