Basra: Civil Defense teams extinguished a fire that broke out in an auction in Safwan district, west of Basra. The incident resulted in no casualties but caused material damage to the site.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Civil Defense Directorate stated in a press release that firefighters successfully managed to control the blaze. The site, which housed construction and electrical materials, paints, wood, and other items, sustained damage due to the fire.
