Tehran: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi expressed gratitude to UNESCO for its response to the recent bombing of the Golestan Palace, a recognized World Heritage Site. Araqchi conveyed his thanks on the X platform, emphasizing the importance of UNESCO's responsible stance.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Araqchi stated, "I thank UNESCO for its responsible response to the bombing of the Golestan Palace, a World Heritage Site." He stressed the need for UNESCO to maintain firm positions against aggressions targeting cultural heritage. The minister highlighted the international community's concern over the protection of such historical sites, including those in Isfahan.
