Baghdad:The Civil Defense Directorate reported that a fire in a residential home in the Al-Ataifiyah district of Baghdad resulted in the recovery of four bodies. The fire was extinguished by Civil Defense teams, who also rescued a young girl now in critical condition.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the four victims, all from the same family, included children. Following the incident, the Civil Defense Directorate issued a public appeal urging caution with heating equipment, especially as the winter season approaches. They advised checking electrical wiring, turning off heating appliances, and ensuring proper ventilation while sleeping to prevent toxic gas inhalation.
