Baghdad: One pilgrim participating in the Arba'een pilgrimage to Imam Hussein's shrine died, and four others were injured, in a hit-and-run accident on the Diwaniyah-Babylon road.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a medical source stated that the injured were transferred to the hospital, and the body was sent to the forensic medicine department. Authorities have opened an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the accident.
