Basra: Basra police arrested four individuals accused of drug use and seized narcotics.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Basra Governorate Police Command media office stated: “Based on precise intelligence and field investigations, detachments from Al-Tamimiya Police Station conducted a security operation in Al-Tamimiya area targeting drug users. This resulted in the arrest of four individuals accused of drug use, in addition to the seizure of narcotics, including drops and pills, in their possession.”

The statement added: “The necessary legal measures were taken against the accused, and they were referred to the specialized authorities.”
