Four people were arrested for distributing leaflets inciting sedition among visitors in Baghdad

Baghdad The Federal Police arrested 4 people for distributing leaflets inciting sedition among visitors, in Baghdad.

A statement by the Federal Police Command stated: “A force of the Federal Police in charge of protecting visitors heading to the holy city of Kadhimiya arrested four people in Sana’a Square in (Al-Hurriya) area in Baghdad, who were distributing leaflets that insult religious beliefs and knowledge in an attempt to sow sectarian strife and differentiate among Muslims.

It explained that the accused were handed over, along with the seizure of their publications, to the competent authorities to complete the necessary legal procedures against them.
