Baghdad:France: The Iraqi Army is now deemed capable of taking full responsibility for the country’s security, as stated by the French Joint Staff.

According to Iraqi News Agency, the announcement comes in light of the withdrawal of Operation Inherent Resolve forces from Iraq, marking a significant milestone in the ongoing fight against ISIS. This withdrawal is also seen as a testament to the enhanced capabilities of the Iraqi Army.

The French Joint Staff also confirmed that France has completed the withdrawal of its final forces involved in the coalition. However, it emphasized that France remains prepared to assist with future cooperation requests from Baghdad.
