Baghdad: Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein submitted his candidacy papers for the presidency, which were presented on his behalf by his office director, Sirwan Alan. Mulla Bakhtiar, a member of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), also submitted his candidacy papers for the position independently.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, these two individuals are now officially in the race for the presidential position. Fuad Hussein is currently serving as the Foreign Minister, while Mulla Bakhtiar is associated with the PUK, indicating a diverse political representation in the candidacy. Both candidates have taken a significant step towards the presidency, which is a key position in the nation’s political landscape.
