Gaza City: The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced today that the death toll from Israeli bombing of the Strip has risen to 56,077 martyrs and 131,848 wounded since October 7, 2023.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry of Health’s daily statistical statement reported that 79 martyrs, including 5 recovered martyrs, and 289 wounded individuals arrived at Gaza Strip hospitals in the past 24 hours. The report highlighted ongoing challenges faced by ambulance and civil defense crews, who are unable to reach a number of victims still trapped under rubble and in the streets.

The statement further indicated that since March 18, the death toll has reached 5,759 martyrs, with 19,807 people wounded. In the last 24 hours alone, the conflict has claimed the lives of 49 martyrs and resulted in injuries to more than 197 individuals, raising the total number of livelihood victims who have reached hospitals to 516 martyrs and 3,799 injured.
