Gaza Hospitals and Health Centers Cease Operations Amid Conflict

BAGHDAD, Government media in Gaza has reported a significant halt in healthcare services, with 22 hospitals and 49 health centers ceasing operations in the region. This development is a direct consequence of the ongoing conflict in Gaza.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the report detailed that the occupation forces targeted key facilities in the Al-Shifa Medical Complex, including the intensive care department, surgery building, and maternity department. The conflict has led to critical supply shortages, with two premature babies reported to have died at Al-Shifa Medical Complex due to these disruptions.

Additionally, it was reported that the occupation forces have completely destroyed 70 mosques and partially damaged 153 others, along with three churches, significantly impacting the region’s infrastructure and heritage sites.
