Baghdad: An informed source reported on Sunday the arrest of Hashim al-Sudani, Director General of the General Company for Automobiles, on corruption charges.

According to Iraqi News Agency, a security force apprehended Hashim al-Sudani, who held the position of Director General at the General Company for Automobiles under the Ministry of Trade. The arrest is linked to allegations of corruption concerning a contract with the Ministry of Defense.
