Baghdad: The General Company for Central Markets participated in the Food Industries, Packaging, and Wrapping Exhibition held at the Baghdad International Fairgrounds as part of the 17th Agriculture Week. The event, which commenced on Saturday, August 22, 2026, was inaugurated in the presence of the Prime Minister and the Minister of Trade, with oversight by the company’s Acting Director General, Farah Hikmat Makki.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Prime Minister took the opportunity to visit the company’s pavilion during his tour of the exhibition halls. He examined the company’s participation and its product displays, offering commendation for the company’s involvement and the dedication of its staff.

The Acting Director General highlighted the significance of the company’s involvement in specialized exhibitions, noting that such events offer a platform to demonstrate the company’s activities and the breadth of its work, while also reinforcing its role in economic and commercial gatherings.
